Welcome to the TEAM CAPTAIN’S registration page for the Olympiad VI “Dragons Race”.  The event will be on Saturday, August 28, 2010 and held on the Rocky Broad River at Lake Lure’s Morse Park on Rt. 64/74A/9 in Lake Lure.

A dragon boat team consists of 10 paddlers, one drummer and up to two alternates.  Race management supplies the steerer and all equipment.  Two one-hour practice sessions are included with the registration fee and must be reserved.  You will be contacted upon receipt of your registration form, roster and fee payment.

This page contains required forms that must be filed as part of your team’s registration process.  Your registration is not completed until we receive your registration fee.  Mail in directions, fee rates, and race divisions are on the registration form. 

Your registration form and fee must be received by August 21st.

The registration form and team roster are electronic and printable, while the waiver and pledge receipt forms are printable.  Copies can then be given to your team members.

As is the case in all Olympiad events, gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded in each race division to each team member.

This is a great team sport and almost anyone can do it.  Lots of fun and excitement.  Gather your friends, fellow workers, neighbors, club members,  and give it a try.  Everyone who has tried it just loves it!  Notice there is a breast cancer survivor division.  Great team building for your fire department too.
