VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are a critical component to any successful event, including the Lake Lure, “Lure of the Dragons” Festival. Volunteers help with a variety of pre-event positions as well as event day needs. Some of the areas we need volunteers for are:
Team Docks
Team Marshaling
Score Board
Hospitality
Team Registration
Awards Ceremony
Cultural Festival
Clean Up Crews
Children's Activities
Traffic Control/Parking

Vendors who participate in the “Lure of the Dragons” Festival reap many benefits, including exposure to an anticipated 1,200-plus racers and spectators.

Vendor applications now being accepted in the following areas:
Arts & Crafts (especially Southern crafts and Asian arts)
Food concessions (both Asian and Southern/American)
